Does anyone else find it weird that so many people romanticize Zeus and Persephones’s relationship???
He holds her captive and then tricks her into eating a pomegranate when it’s time to let her go… so that she will never be fully free of him…
There are so many good fall equinox stories!!! I don’t have time to tell them all today though… so be sure to go so your own research!!
Also, Persephone really gets all the attention in this story, but I really feel like this is more Demeter's story.
How far would you go for your child if they were kidnapped?
I feel like I would definitely go all out with Demeter...
I can feel her joy and grief deeply in this story.
